The En Gedi Restoration Center (ERC) offers a transformative four-day retreat designed to foster well-being for minister couples. Our program, grounded in health, self-care, and marital strength, is built to restore physical, emotional, and spiritual health, enabling leaders to return to their communities revitalized and more effective in their ministry.
A Holistic Approach to Health & Ministry
Our retreat program combines proven health strategies with practical training in stewardship, self-care, and using local foods as preventive medicine. With personalized attention in small groups of 10-12 couples, ministers receive the care they need to strengthen their marriage and ministry. Together, we equip them with the tools to prevent burnout, improve health, and enhance their leadership capabilities.

Our Mission
The mission of ERC is to provide a place for rest and restored health to pastor-couples of rural churches, by addressing self-care, stewardship and ministerial excellence, and training in using locally available foods as nutritious and preventive medicine.
Our Vision
The vision is a resort-style oasis where minister-couples come to ‘rest’, restore, rebuild and return to ministry encouraged, strengthened and equipped to be effective Kingdom assets.

Your body is a Kingdom Asset: Caring for Your Body is an act of Obedience. Your body is God’s Temple and demands self-care in line with your Kingdom assignment.
Self-Care is Life Care: Caring for your body is an act of Worship and a Kingdom priority, because, a neglected body is a negative cost to God’s Kingdom. That is why Healing and Health are important.
Life Care is Kingdom Care: Life care is preventive maintenance to ensure Kingdom capacity and mobility. Your mission-readiness capacity, performance and quality are negatively affected if you neglect intentional life-care, comprising body health, spiritual disciplines and dietary habits. Your sickness is not a Kingdom project or mission. Caring for the body as a Kingdom asset, is your responsibility, for your good and God’s glory.
